What is ann lesby?

Ann Lesby, also known as Ann Nesby, is an American gospel, R&B, and soul singer. She began her career as a lead vocalist for the gospel group, The Sounds of Blackness. In 1992, she released her first solo album, "I'm Here for You," which featured the hit single "I'm Still Wearing Your Name." Nesby has released several more successful albums over the years, including "Put It on Paper," "The Lula Lee Project," and "The Essential Ann Nesby." In addition to her music career, Nesby has also acted in films and television shows, including the television series, "Treme." She has won numerous awards for her music, including a Grammy Award for Best Soul Gospel Performance.
